How much vaccine and reagent inventory does the 290L realistically hold?

At 290 L (10.24 cu ft) with 4 adjustable shelves and full-height glass, the 290L is the everyday upright workhorse — sized for the daily vaccine and reagent inventory of a typical pharmacy or clinic, with front-of-house visibility for at-a-glance stock checks. If you're consolidating multiple small units or running a high-volume program, the 395L or 590L step up in capacity. Send us your inventory profile and we'll confirm.

What's the difference between the NOR-Lite-290L and the standard NOR-5L uprights?

NOR-Lite is the affordable tier of the NOR-5L line. The 290L delivers the same core cold-chain integrity — stable 2–8°C, forced-air uniformity, heated glass, full alarm suite, lock and key — at a more accessible price point, and actually carries a longer 10-year compressor warranty. The standard NOR-5L uprights add some build and feature specifications; we're happy to walk through the specific differences for your application.

Is the USB data port included, or is it an add-on on this model?

On the 290L the USB data port is optional. If 24/7 digital temperature traceability matters for your documentation, specify the USB option at the time of order. The 395L and 590L include the USB port as standard. Let us know whether you need it and we'll configure the unit accordingly. 

Does the heated glass door prevent condensation in a humid room?

Yes. The heated glass door keeps the outer pane just above the dew point, preventing condensation and fogging even in higher-humidity rooms — so contents stay visible for stock checks without opening the door. That visibility also reduces door-open frequency, which helps temperature stability.
