WiFi Data Logger · Daily Min/Max + Real-Time Alerts

Daily min/max for the audit. Real-time alerts for the moment.

The NOR-DL01 captures the daily minimum and maximum temperature for each monitored refrigerator and builds them into a digital logbook ready for inspection. When a reading drifts outside its threshold, the device sends a real-time alert via app notification, SMS, email, and phone call — before the excursion becomes a loss.

Audit-Ready — FDA CFR 21 Part 11 · NSF/ANSI 456 · NIST Traceable

Captured automatically. Inspection-ready digital logbook.

The NOR-DL01 captures continuous readings, computes the daily min and max for each calendar day, and presents them as a digital logbook you can print, export as PDF, or show to the inspector directly. Whether digital records alone satisfy your regulator depends on your province and your pharmacy college guidance — the logbook can be printed at any interval.

Time

Saves staff time

The twice-daily reading and log entry is captured automatically — staff verify and counter-sign rather than collect from scratch.

Accuracy

Computed from continuous data

Min and max derived from readings every 1–30 minutes — not from a single reading at the moment of checking.

Audit

Inspector-ready format

Export as PDF for paper files, keep digitally under FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or show directly during a site visit.

Three steps. Under ten minutes.

No installer required. Setup runs through your phone over Bluetooth and WiFi and pairs with the cloud platform at app.maxlinc.com.

Daily min/max logbook

Automatically computes daily minimum and maximum temperatures from continuous readings and builds a digital logbook for every monitored refrigerator. Exports as PDF for inspection, paper files, or electronic records under FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Supports the twice-daily min/max recording referenced in Health Canada vaccine storage guidelines and provincial pharmacy college inspections.

E-Ink display

Low-power electronic-paper display shows current temperature, humidity, probe reading, and status icons (signal, battery, alarm). Updates at each recording interval and pauses below 0 °C to preserve screen integrity.

NIST-traceable probe

One external NIST-traceable temperature probe included with calibration certificate. Certificate is issued to the probe itself — renewal is a probe swap, not a unit return. Cert valid for 3 years in active use, 5 years on shelf.

Multi-channel alerts

Real-time notifications via app notification, SMS, email, and automated phone call when a parameter exceeds the configured threshold. Programmable high and low set points per parameter. Multiple recipients supported per channel — route SMS to the pharmacy manager, email to the QA inbox, phone call to the after-hours line.

Mold-risk detection

Continuous mold-risk evaluation derived from ambient temperature and humidity. Alerts when conditions exceed the risk threshold — relevant for archives, drug-storage rooms, and environments beyond refrigerated zones.

Local backup memory

49,000 records per parameter held in on-board memory. Recording continues during WiFi outage; sync resumes when connection is restored. Power-loss event itself triggers an alert via cloud + on-device indicator.

Two-year battery life

Four AA batteries deliver up to two years of typical operation. USB-C 5 V input available for permanent mains power; the unit switches automatically between sources. Low-battery indicator on display.

Audit-ready exports

FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliant audit trail. Day-and-night min-max log book. Exports formatted for provincial pharmacy college and Public Health Agency inspections. Records cannot be silently altered.

Three-button control

SYNC pushes data to the cloud on demand. °C/°F/SNOOZE toggles units and snoozes the buzzer; hold for advanced metrics. SETUP activates WiFi configuration hotspot. Snoozable buzzer; visual indicator persists until acknowledged.

Snoozable buzzer + LED

Audible alarm at the device sounds for 5 seconds on threshold breach; snoozable from the middle button. Visual alarm indicator on the E-Ink display continues until the condition clears or is acknowledged.

Does this satisfy the daily min/max temperature recording required for vaccine storage?

Up to 8 hours of continuous 2–8°C operation, under typical clinic conditions (low door-open frequency, normal ambient temperature). That covers the vast majority of utility grid interruptions, including overnight failures, planned maintenance windows, and most winter storm events. If the outage extends beyond the UPS runtime, the unit will alert you through its audible and visual alarms before battery depletion. For locations with frequent multi-day outages, pair with a generator transfer switch — the TG unit recharges automatically when generator power kicks in.

Does this work with my existing refrigerator, or only with NordVax models?

The switchover is automatic and effectively instantaneous (millisecond range) — there is no temperature excursion because the compressor and control electronics never lose power. You do not need to do anything: when grid power fails, the internal UPS takes over; when grid power is restored, the unit switches back to mains and the battery begins recharging. The display and audible alarm indicate the power source change, so you and any connected monitoring system know the unit is running on battery.

What WiFi network requirements does the NOR-DL01 have?

Same cabinet, same capacity (35.53 cu ft), same 10 shelves, same heated glass door, same 2–8°C precision — but the TG variant adds an integrated TempGuard UPS with up to 8 hours of battery backup. The TG version is the right choice if a single power outage would mean throwing away vaccine stock and re-ordering. The non-TG NOR-5L1006 is the right choice if your site has reliable grid power, a building-level generator, or a separate UPS already in place. The TG variant accommodates the battery in a sealed compartment near the compressor.

How does NIST certificate renewal work? Do I have to send the unit back?

The NOR-5L1006TG requires a minimum of 4″ rear clearance and 2″ side clearance on both sides. Do not install in an enclosed cabinet or alcove without adequate rear ventilation — insufficient clearance is the leading cause of compressor overload in pharmacy settings. Front clearance should allow the door to open fully — refer to the cabinet width in the Specifications tab and add the door swing arc. The TG variant accommodates the integrated battery module in a sealed compartment near the compressor. If your space is tight, share your room dimensions with us before ordering and we'll confirm fit.

Will it alert me when I'm not at the clinic — evenings, weekends, holidays?

The NOR-5L1006TG ships with a lockable door as standard — keyed lock, included. This meets College of Pharmacy guidelines for pharmaceutical storage areas and is sufficient for vaccine and controlled-substance-adjacent refrigerated stock. For Schedule I–IV controlled narcotic storage specifically, a dedicated narcotic safe with a UL-rated time-delay lock is required by provincial pharmacy regulators — the refrigerator alone does not satisfy those requirements. See our Narcotic Safes category for StrongBox and Advance Series options.

Does it keep working during a WiFi or power outage?

The NOR-5L1006TG ships upright on a pallet. GTA white-glove delivery includes inside placement into your suite or clinic area (not lobby or curbside drop), unpacking, and removal of all packaging materials. We do not include electrical connection — that's coordinated with your electrician or contractor. If you need us to align with your contractor on placement, mounting, or site requirements, we can do that at no extra charge — just let us know at the time of order. Contact us with your city, room dimensions, and target install date to confirm scope and schedule.
