US-made

Manufactured in Skaneateles Falls, NY by Welch Allyn (Hillrom / Baxter). The trusted brand standard for North American clinics — specified across hospital systems, family practices, and walk-in clinics.

Clinician-familiar

The same Welch Allyn handhelds clinicians trained on through medical school and residency. No learning curve and no workflow disruption when a new exam room comes online.

Install-ready

Wall board, transformer, and KleenSpec dispenser ship with every unit. Pre-finished mounting board reduces site work. Professional install supported through Delmen GTA white-glove service.

Auto on/off

Energy-efficient power management activates instruments when handsets are lifted from the wall and returns the station to standby when stowed. Reduces idle draw across multi-room deployments.

What's the difference between the Standard and Premium tiers?

The Standard ships with LED ophthalmoscope, MacroView otoscope, aneroid BP gauge, and KleenSpec dispenser — a full general-diagnostic kit at CA$1,749. The Premium tier adds Welch Allyn SureTemp 690 electronic thermometer integration to the wall station, which is meaningful for clinics that want temperature taking at the same wall position as the rest of the diagnostic workflow. If your site has a separate digital thermometer workflow already (handheld or otherwise), Standard is the right tier.

Does the wall board ship pre-finished, or do we need to paint it on site?

Pre-finished. The wall board ships factory-finished and ready to mount — no on-site painting, sealing, or treatment required. Reduces install time and avoids the variability that comes with site-applied finishes in clinical settings.

Is the installation handled by Delmen, or do we hire our own contractor?

Both options are available. For GTA addresses we offer white-glove installation through Delmen — our crew handles wall-mounting, transformer connection, instrument seating, and a functional handover. Outside the GTA, the unit ships with the mounting template and full instructions for your contractor; the install is straightforward for any commercial-trades electrician familiar with wall-mounted medical devices. Contact us for white-glove install pricing.

How does warranty service work — do we ship the unit back, or does someone come to the site?

Most warranty events are component-level — a specific scope head, a transformer, a BP cuff. In those cases we ship the replacement part to your site and you swap in place; the failed component returns under prepaid label for the manufacturer's RMA. For wall-board or transformer issues that require on-site work, Delmen coordinates a service visit (GTA) or arranges a vetted local technician (national). One contact, one ticket — you don't escalate to Welch Allyn directly.

Can the BP cuff be swapped for a pediatric or large-adult size later?

Yes. The aneroid BP gauge accepts the full Welch Allyn cuff range — pediatric, child, adult, large adult, and thigh. The unit ships with adult cuff standard; additional sizes can be ordered separately and swapped without any modification to the wall station. Cuffs are inflation-and-bladder assemblies that connect to the same hose, so swapping is a 30-second procedure.

Where does the WA-777 Standard fit your operation?

Three patterns where the Standard tier is the right fit, plus the case where the Premium upgrade earns its price.

01 · Walk-in & urgent care

High-volume general-diagnostic workflow across multiple rooms.

Suggested models

Full general-diagnostic kit at every room — clinicians don’t carry equipment between rooms

Wall-mounted reduces counter clutter and keeps cords managed

Auto on/off reduces idle power across long operating hours

KleenSpec disposable specula simplifies infection-control between patients

Title

02 · Family practice

Routine adult and pediatric primary care.

Suggested models

Welch Allyn handheld set every clinician trained on — no learning curve

Aneroid BP gauge accepts the full Welch Allyn cuff range (pediatric through large adult)

MacroView otoscope provides 2× magnification helpful in pediatric exams

Separate thermometer workflow assumed — step up to Premium if you want SureTemp integrated

Title

03 · Specialty & integrated thermometry

Pediatric, internal medicine, and sites consolidating temperature workflow at the wall.

Consider instead

If temperature taking happens at the wall station alongside the rest of the diagnostic workflow

If you’re standardizing on SureTemp 690 electronic thermometry across the practice

Premium adds SureTemp 690 integration; the rest of the station is identical to Standard
