Does the A-6032 have an integrated methadone bottle holder?

No. The A-6032 ships with seven adjustable metal shelves and does not include the integrated methadone holder. The methadone holder on the Advance Series is integrated into the rollout-drawer models (A-3020-R3, A-3524-R4, A-3824-R5, A-3840-R10). The A-6032 is designed for institutional pharmacy applications where high-capacity vertical storage matters more than methadone-specific organization. If you need both — large capacity AND integrated methadone holder — the A-3840-R10 carries ten drawers plus the methadone holder.

How does the A-6032 compare to the A-6024?

Both safes share the 60″ tall-format footprint and seven-shelf configuration, but they're different products. The A-6032 (Advance) uses adjustable metal shelves, ships in white powder-coated finish at 32″ × 16″ depth, and weighs 450 lb. The A-6024 (StrongBox) uses adjustable wooden shelves, ships in black at 24″ × 20″ depth, weighs 300 lb, and is Made in Canada. The A-6032 has a wider, shallower cabinet — wall-flush placement preferred. The A-6024 has a deeper, narrower cabinet — corner placement works. Same LaGard 702 lock on both.

Is bolt-down installation mandatory for a 450 lb tall-format safe?

The A-6032 ships with 4 bolt-down holes at the base and is bolt-down ready. Whether bolt-down is mandatory depends on two things: your provincial College of Pharmacy guidelines, and your insurance carrier requirements. Some provinces require bolt-down at all volume tiers; others require it above a Schedule II inventory threshold. Most insurance carriers require bolt-down for any controlled-substance safe. Our GTA white-glove install includes bolt-down service into a concrete floor; for sites outside the GTA, you coordinate bolt-down with your contractor at install time. We strongly recommend bolt-down regardless of mandate — an unsecured 450 lb safe is still removable with the right equipment.
